Since 2005, Ateliers L. McComber has offered an integrated service of architecture–construction. Acting as both architect and general contractor (read notice), we bring simple and elegant designs to life.

Every intervention we make is inspired by the context, its users, and their needs. Working judiciously with space and matter, we can shape any environment into an elegant place to live in.

Meticulous planning, effective management and careful handling of the entire construction process enable us to achieve high standard of quality. Striving constantly to reduce the ecological footprint of our projects, we insist on integrating green technologies and processes.

During the initial meeting, the architect observes and assesses the existing context, and establishes a budget according to his client’s needs (program).

A project consists of six phases:
– On–site survey;
– Sketch;
– Preliminary plans;
– Construction plans and    specifications;
– Building permit application;
– Carrying out or overseeing the    work.

All of our projects are custom–made. We handle many types of projects, such as:
– New constructions;
– Extensions;
– Major transformations and    renovations.

Having carried out many residential and commercial projects throughout Montreal, we have developed an expertise at creating large spaces out of limited spaces. Outside the city, such a skill allows us to decrease environmental impacts and optimize investments.
